Light straw with a green edge. White flowers, hazelnut, minerals with fine citrus aromatics. Gentle textured palate, slightly savoury, good drying phenolics, hints of nuts, nervy, good drive and length.

From this vineyard we also select what we think are the outstanding mature vine vineyards and make some single section wines from these. Section A5 Chardonnay from 1976 planting and Section A8 Syrah from 1971 planting are the first two releases.
