Ruby red color with purple reflexes. Its intense bouquet unfolds beautiful notes of juicy cherries, plums, but also clove, licorice and some lilac. Intense opening with pronounced fruit flavors, pleasant acidity gives the freshness and balances the structure well, gradually also pleasant toasty caramel and after cocoa notes, and a hint of vanilla; long finish.

This is the second wine of Luce Della Vite, an estate in Montalcino. The Merlot-dominated Lucente entices with red fruit aromasÐraspberries and cherriesÐaccented by violets and herbs de Provence. The palate has rich coffee, purple fruit and nutty tones framed by fine tannins and nice balance.
