Description
A historic Japanese whisky, that has been in production since 1937.
Kakubin translates from Japanese as “square bottle”, referring to the distinctive design of this whisky. This is a classic blend of Suntory’s distilleries Yamazaki and Hakushu, aged in Bourbon casks.
This whisky is a testament to the harmony that is at the very heart of everything Suntory do. A light and refreshing blend, with sweet notes of warm cereal, caramel, toffee and bananas. This dram is perfectly balanced. A spirit ideal for mixing with soda and the core of many a Japanese cocktail.
Nose: Big scoops of fresh cereals and honeycomb ice cream. Light spiciness to it.
Palate: More honey, now with the addition of citrus peels, peppercorn and cinnamon.
Finish: More honey’d barley.
