AROMA : The nose is an understated one, with brambles and strawberries: it is a compote of raspberries, strawberries & hints of rockmelon to round things out. A dash of vanilla spice and dusty oak adds a more mature angle to this young energetic Shiraz.
PALATE : The palate has super clean lines, soft edges with perky acidity, greets you with a lighter frame, but packed full of driving red fruits, and touches of choc-orange, blood plum and vanilla. Light in body and fruit weight; a wine for ease and drinkability.
FOOD PAIRING : Pairs well with stews, braised and rich casseroles. Match it with beef or veal, lamb or duck. The richness of the wine also works really well with roasted beetroot, fennel and root vegetables, as well as cous cous, risotto and vegetable stews.
