The philosophy of Oyster Bay is to produce fine,å distinctively regional wines that are elegant and assertiveå with glorious fruit flavours. With every vintage we areå working with more established vines from small vineyardå sites, each chosen for its aspect and uniform soils ofå moderate fertility, providing for extended ripening andå enhanced fruit flavour profiles. With Pinot Noir theå fruit is always the primary focus. Each vineyard block iså harvested as a separate parcel and treated individuallyå at each stage of the winemaking process. This enableså us to influence and enhance the wine using traditionalå winemaking techniques, adding subtlety and complexity.å We use a combination of barrel and tank fermentationå and mature the wine in a mix of new and older Frenchå oak. Oyster Bay Marlborough Pinot Noir is elegant coolå climate Pinot Noir at its best. Fragrant,soft and flavourfulå with aromas of ripe cherries and sweet fruit tannins thatå provide structure and length.
