Description
From the Languedoc-Roussillon wine region, in the south of France, Minervois (Mee-nehr-vwah) is the appellation. It wasn’t thought of much as a region, apparently over planted and over cropped but more recently the region has implemented a number of changes, vastly improving quality. In 1985 it was awarded AC status meaning wine is now produced according to the appellations closely monitored rules.
