Description
The Château Cap Léon Veyrin has been family-owned since 1810 when the Château Cap Léon and the Veyrin estates were joined. The word ‘Cap’ originally meant ‘head’. The vineyard of Cap Veyrin actually thrones on the higher land of Listrac Médoc, and thus boasts ideal natural drainage and sun exposure.
The family traditions are perpetuated with care : predominance of Merlot, fining with egg white, ageing for 12 months in barrels, hand-picking for the harvest of the youngest and oldest vines.
