For this 1994 vintage, July and August were extremely favorable to the vines development in the little village of Sainte-Mme, located around twenty kilometers northwest of Cognac in the famous Fins Bois cru. Rain in early September gave way to a period of warm, sunny weather enabling harvesting under exceptional conditions and producing rich and perfectly balanced wines.
