Acustic Brao Monsant 2006
Inky purple color. Black cherry, cocoa and sexy oak spices on the nose. Fresh dark berry and cherry flavors are brightened by cinnamon and clove, picking up numbing white pepper on the back end. Plenty fat and sweet but also brisk, with suave vanilla and cola character on the lengthy finish.
ÒThe 2006 Brao is a blend of 50% Garnacha and 50% Samso aged for 12 months in French oak, some of it new. Purple colored, it offers a similar aromatic profile but is more structured and fuller-bodied than the Acustic. Layered, bordering on opulent, the wine has superb depth, concentration, and a 40-second finish.
50% Garnacha, 50% Carinena (Samso)
ÒAttitudeÓ has a beautiful freshness in mouth, a frank attack, delicate green and lemon flavours, citrus fruits, green apple and kiwi aromas. The minerality gives a long finish to the wine, a smoothness and elegance – characteristics of all of Pascal JolivetÕs wines.
From ancient limestone soils in the heart of the Cote de Nuits, ChambolleMusigny is often said to produce the finest reds of all 25 Premier Crus in the area. The Roux Les Charmes shows persistent, delicate aromas of violet, prune, raspberry, and strawberry on the nose and palate.
A beautifully balanced bouquet with harmonious aromas of fragrant hawthorn blossoms, citrusy lemongrass, sweet marzipan, and toasted hazelnuts. The fl avors are ripe on this Puligny-Montrachet.
Bright ruby color, attractive nose with lots of raspberries and ripe cherries, some smoke and licorice. Beautiful intensity in the mouth turn red berry fruit, wonderfully fresh and refreshing, it juicy and elegant binding. Mittele length on the finish. A completely honest and good value Burgundy!
