Ripe, red and black berry, vanilla, spice and pepper aromas evident on the lifted bouquet. A firmly structured, complex, palate shows exceptional length with firm, finely grained tannin, aiding a rich mouth-feel.
A rich, dark, cherry red wine with great colour density. The nose is generous & rich with warm autumn notes of ripe blackberry compote, earthy structure & a hint of gingerbread. This full-bodied wine is driven by concentrated fruit flavours of chocolate and black cherries, subtle savoury textures and fine, soft tannins.
A dense and deep ruby in colour with a complex bouquet of liquorice, dark cherry, blackberry, chocolate and white pepper spice. The palate structure is an open weave of chalky fruit and fine oak tannins with a gravelly textured mid palate. Supple and soft red fruits provide a mouth filling richness, while hints of soy and oyster give an interesting savoury finish.
Deep, bright crimson. Blackberry bramble, plum, and cassis perfumes blend with subtle mint and dried herbs. This Angela Shiraz is a true reflection of vintage, with the low yields producing concentrated wine of a more savoury nature and great structure. Blackberry, olive tapenade, tar and cassis flavours are balanced with bright acidity and subtle vanillin from oak ageing.
The 2012 has lovely fresh aromatics of red berries, which is followed on the palate by intense pure fruit notes including raspberry and blueberry. The palate is long and layered, with ample fine tannins, and background notes of clove and black pepper.
