Light crimson. Grenache is the dominant grape in the blend and it shows on the nose with highly fragrant and earthy characters of dried herbs and tobacco. The Shiraz complements these characters with beautiful sweeter aromatics of ripe red cherries and mint. The wine is mid-weighted with bright acidity and heart-warming earthy, savoury characters of dried herb and tar sitting perfectly alongside delicate raspberry and cherry. The tannins are prominent yet fine and mouth coating providing a wonderful framework for the juicy mid-palate.
Deep, bright crimson. Blackberry bramble, plum, and cassis perfumes blend with subtle mint and dried herbs. This Angela Shiraz is a true reflection of vintage, with the low yields producing concentrated wine of a more savoury nature and great structure. Blackberry, olive tapenade, tar and cassis flavours are balanced with bright acidity and subtle vanillin from oak ageing.
Flagship quality, Shiraz at its best. Dense ruby in colour, almost opaque. On the palate the wine is full bodied, complex and full of layers. Dried spice, coffee, brambly fruits with perfect oak, smooth tannins and very long length.
Peppery and tarry with dustings of dry spice and meaty complexity. The texture is lush yet complex with savoury tannin and complain richness. Plenty of power is evident yet is it is restrained.
Pallid straw yellow in colour with light greenish in ection, Jester Vermentino shows classic minerality and texture. It presents fresh lifted fruit, withnotes of melon and citrus and a slightly spiced edge. Refreshing, balanced acidity rounds out to an elongated finish. Clean, grapefruit citrus flavours dominate with tropical undertones of melon. The palate is bright and fresh with a savoury, saline edge yet still a lovely soft, mouth filling quality and the faintest dusting of chalky structure that makes it the perfect wine to compliment salty seafood dishes.
