Made from the grapes of the land plot of the same name, exclusively dedicated to its production. 100% grand cru pinot noir from Ay, this wine is the perfect combination of an exceptional terroir and a highly technical wine making process. The concentration and strength of this wine is surprising, the Champagne vineyards were originally renowned for their red wines. Those made exclusively with with pinot noir from the village of Ay were a great favourite at the French Court, especially under King Henri IV.
