Deep red / bright / ruby. Displays intense black fruit flavours and the complexity that Bannockburn Pinot Noir is renowned for. Haunting aromatics of floral and spice. The palate is beautifully poised, complex and shows excellent fruit weight supported by fine tannins. A slightly cooler year has produced a wine with a “burgundian framework” but a Bannockburn soul.
Typically Central Otago with a core of juicy red berry fruit and uninhibited by heavy oak influence. Bright, lifted cassis/cherry aromaÛªs with lifted floral and violet notes. A well defined Central Otago Pinot Noir exhibiting juicy red fruits. Light, soft tannins complement the savoury highlights and the finish is long and bright.
